Working with EDS

EDS personnel have over 30 years combined experience collecting and analyzing bathymetric, topographic and hydrologic data. Our personnel have worked in all coastal areas of the United States, with a focus on west coast environments. We have worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from federally-funded academic research to projects within the consulting industry. As a result, we understand the importance of assuring quality control while project goals and budget remain in sharp focus.

EDS staff bring a wide range of skill sets to each project which include:

• Over 30 years combined experience on hydrographic, topographic and other field data collection efforts
• An innovative approach to each data collection and analysis effort
• A very robust set of QA/QC procedures that have been tested and refined on over 300 projects
• Communicating with the client to understand the necessary steps required to produce an accurate data set—from the initial mobilization to final maps, charts and timeseries
• A large equipment pool to ensure we have the flexibility to incorporate the proper piece of equipment into each customized field effort
• An intimate understanding of west coast environments
• PLS oversight on each hydrographic survey
• Ongoing education amongst our staff to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of survey and sensor technology
